Elevate with Swati

Swati is a compassionate, client-centred counsellor and holistic therapist with over five years of therapeutic experience, following a 16-year leadership career across multinational organisations. Her diverse background brings emotional insight, cultural intelligence, and a grounded presence, creating a safe, supportive space for clients. She is registered with ACC, WINZ, and accepts Southern Cross insurance.

Swati specialises in sexual abuse, trauma, PTSD, anger, anxiety, and stress management. She integrates evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, EMDR, DBT, mindfulness, Polyvagal-informed and somatic therapy, and solution-focused approaches. She is also a trained yoga therapist and breathwork specialist, offering 1:1 and group trauma-informed or Hatha flow yoga sessions with a focus on breathing and nervous system regulation.
Having lived in India, Singapore, and now Aotearoa New Zealand, Swati understands migration challenges and relocation stress firsthand. She provides counselling in English, Hindi, and conversational Spanish.

With senior leadership experience, Swati is well-versed in running workshops and supporting organisations through business transformations, restructuring, and change management, helping clients navigate both professional and personal transitions.

Her practice honours Māori values and is LGBTQIA+ affirmative, offering a holistic, integrative approach that addresses mind, body, and emotional wellbeing, supporting clients on their journey toward resilience, growth, and healing.
